Seeing as how the other forum is going to be deleted, I decided to move the post here. It's outdated, so when I come back with enough time to read all your suggestions and reupdate the post. After the lines, you'll the the exact same post with its last update and everything as it was. If you have suggestions and new abbreviations, please post the category it falls in so I can update the post and credit you by placing you in the credits list (unless you already are in the list.) Bolding and Italization will be fixed when I get back with more time.

Also, try to not quote the main post in its entirety, but rather the section (s) that you are talking about.

Introduction

Welcome to the ultimate guide to the forum language of the game! I am your host, VideoGameStar, to help you in an organized manner on how to understand the daily language we use on the forums. Thing is, after seeing a lot of acronyms, and even using them myself, I believe it is time that there should be a thread about this in the forums, since the Clash of Clans and Boom Beach forums has one, why not CR have one?

The thread is a compilation of the entire list of acronyms we use (maybe even individual people), which is based on the information obtained by me and other people who post info here. So without further ado, let's get on with the dictionary!

True Blue/True Red- The game isn't a grid-based one, it has a map underneath that determines the direction troops will take, and the players side are determined by the game even though you are always blue. This is true blue and true red, and it was a common issue in the past.

Overleveling- When your cards are over the average level seen in your arena
Underleveling- When your cards are under the average level in your arena
Trophy Drop- When you begin losing trophies in massive amounts, usually over 200.
Losing Streak- When you lose more than 1 match in a row
Balanced or 50/50- When you lose one and win one match for quite a while
Floating- When you roam around a certain cup range, and are stuck in that cup range without dropping further down.
Winning Streak- when you win more than 1 match in a row.
Tournament Chest- Tourney Chest
Super Magical Chest- SMC
Magical Chest- Magic Chest, MC
Chip Damage- Small Amounts of damage done to the tower.
Arenas- A(number)
Draft Chest- none
Multiplayer- might also be abbreviated as MP
Winning Streak Mode (WSM)- Excellent Starting Hands, Excellent Connection and Having level advantage over your opponent
Losing Streak Mode (LSM)- Terrible Starting Hands, Mysterious Connection problems when you have good connection, and your opponents have a level advantage over you.
Frozen Vortex- Being stuck in Frozen Peak for a long time
Balloon or Giant Skeleton Bomb- Suicide Bomb
Bad Manners or BM- When someone uses emotes to try to make fun of you, annoy you, insult you, or make you feel bad in any way.
12 grand- winning a 12-win Grand Challenge Chest
Hidden Stats- Certain Stats that are not shown on their info page, like Initial Attack, Mass and Projectile Speed.
Initial Attack- A hidden Stat that defines how fast a certain card's first attack will be after reaching it's target.
Mass- How a card can push another. Call it like how heavy a certain card is, if you want.
Projectile Speed- How fast a projectile like Arrows or Fireball travels to it's landing spot.
Area of Effect- Another hidden stat for some cards that shows the range of the splash damage a certain card's attack causes. Spells have this known as Radius. Also known as AoE
Disconnect (ed)- DC (ed)
Tilt- When you are on a losing streak or playing overly aggressive in a losing streak.
Glass Cannon- A high DPS but fragile troop.
Mini-Tanks- Smaller troops with higher Hit points, like knight.
Tank- a troop with very high hit points used to take blows for other troops.

    Common Strategies
    (order is inversed here to better explain)
    Goison- Giant + Poison Combo (Poison used to have the slowing effect, which made it effective on offense)
    Pig Push- I think it's dropping the Hog Rider near the river, with the purpose of avoiding any distracting buildings.
    Lavaloon- Lava Hound + Balloon Combo
    GiWitch- Giant + Witch Combo
    GiWiz or Giwi- Giant + Wizard (any) Combo. Usually, wizards are identified here.
    Hog Barrel- Hog Rider + Goblin Barrel Combo
    Hog Balloon- Hog Rider + Balloon Combo
    HogLog - Hog rider with a log, to kill a skarmy which may appear
    GoWiWI - From CoC, Golem+Witch+Wizard
    Bacon Pancake- Hog Rider + Mini Pekka
    Gravedigger- Graveyard + Miner
    Gravy Bowl or Bowleryard- Graveyard + Bowler
    EHog- Elite Barbarians + Hog Combo
    Troop kiting- When you use a building-targeting troop like Ice Golem to pull an all-targeting card like Elite barbarians or knight.
    Pork Push- pushing something foward with a Hog Rider
    Golem Brothers- Golem + Ice Golem
    Mortar Mirror Muskeclone- Mortar + Mirror + Musketeer + Clone Combo
    FreezeLoons- Balloon + Freeze
    DragLoons- Baby Dragon + Balloon
    RageLoons- Rage + Balloons
    BabyInferno- Baby Dragon + Inferno Dragon
    InfernoLava- Lava Hound + Inferno Dragon.

    Common Deck Types

    Cycle - Lots of cheap cards with only one or two expensive card(s). The purpose is to keep playing the expensive cards as many times as you can
    Chip - Deal a little bit of damage a lot of times to take out the tower
    Siege - Using X-Bow or Mortar, or mostly keeping the fight on your own side
    Beatdown - Try to take a tower or make a 3-crown on only one or two pushes - Usually involves pekka, giant, or golem
    Air - Any strategy based around LH and/or loon, with a few flying support cards
    Spawner - A strategy based on Barb hut, gob hut, furnace, and/or tombstone, where you try to place as many as possible to amount a large stream of troops which can be hard to deal with.
    Bait- a type of deck that specializes in using bait troops or buildings like pump (for fireball) and inferno tower and sparky (for zap) to waste your spells so the opponent can bring up the real threatening push.
    Control- A type of deck that specializes in creating a push that the opponent cannot ignore, with the purpose of controlling it's elixir gauge so it cannot create it's own push. If you have an elixir advantage, then this deck type can allow you to use it to create a fast push while the opponent is low on elixir.
    Turtle- A type of deck where you try to take down 1 tower, and then focus on defense.

    OP- main poster, the person who created the topic
    Nerf- when a balance change weakens a certain card, or a balance discussion that requests a card to be weakened. Also known as: Tone down.
    Buff- when a balance change strengthens a certain card, or a balance discussion that request a card to be strengthened. Also known as: none.
    Overpowered- When a card or deck manages to be powerful enough to take down a great amount of cards and decks. Also refered to as OP.
    Overused- Self-explanatory, I guess. Also referred as OU
    IMO- common abbreviation which means In My Opinion. IMHO adds the word Honest, IMO.
    ATM- (not the cash dispenser, ) common abbreviation which means At the Moment.
    META- The current state of the game, where certain cards appear more than others and are slightly stronger than others.
    ImpossiBow- the new meta where X-Bow use is just impossible
    Deck Capacity- The trophy limits of a deck. This is how high a deck can go with your skills and the deck's current cards and levels. Higher deck capacity means higher trophy ranges you can reach.
